Add time settings to your activity
With Beekast, you have the ability to add a time setting to your activity.
Time settings (stopwatch and timer) only work on sessions in scroll mode by the facilitator.
Add a stopwatch
It is possible to add a stopwatch in order to evaluate the duration of the activity.
To add a stopwatch to your activity:
- Click on Add Slide, select your activity and access the activity edit panel.
- Once you have filled in the fields, you will find the "Time management" section on the panel.
- Click on Stopwatch.
- Click on Save to save the information.
Add a timer
It is possible to add a timer to your activities in order to determine its duration.
Once the timer runs out, the activity will automatically close, and this allows you to give your participants a specific amount of time to participate in your activity!
On the editing panel of each activity, find the timer in the Settings section. You also have the possibility to set a stopwatch or no time settings at all.
To add a timer to your activity:
- Click on Add a slide, select your activity and access the activity panel of edition.
- Once the fields are filled in, you will find at your right in the “Settings” panel of the activity, the section “Time management”.
- Click on the Timer and choose the desired amount of time.
- Click on Save to register the information.
Your activity is already created?
- Click on the three dots on the top right of the activity and then click on “Edit”.
- On the “Settings” panel on the right of your screen, go to the section “Time management”.
- Click on the Timer and select the desired amount of time.
