Video calls in Teams

Start an instant meeting in Teams and share your Beekast session

Beekast allows you to conduct your meeting with the synchronization of your session’s data on all of your participants’ devices. At the same time, you will be able to talk to each other and even see each other thanks to one of the video conferencing tools !


How to start a video conference on Teams ?

First, go to one of your teams on Teams and then access the desired channel.

To start a video conference from this channel, click on Meet on the right at the top. 


Depending on the space you are using: 

  • You can view your video in a Picture in Picture (integrated window in your page). This is only possible over the browser, in other words the web version of Teams. 

  • Click on Join now to open the meeting room of the video conference and access to it.

  • You have now the Video on the top at the left corner. So you have the Visio in the small corner at the top left.




Via the native Teams application you can have your video in a Picture in Picture mode.


Tips

To see two tabs Windows next to each other on your screen, start by clicking on the first, then press simultaneously on the Windows key and the right arrow on your keyboard. Your tab will then move to the right and occupies exactly half of your screen.

Click then on the second tab and press on the Windows key and the left arrow on your keyboard. The tab will take up the other half of the screen.

The control buttons

On your video tab you will find: 

  • Time of the call

  • The button to turn on/ off the camera

  • The button to turn on/off the microphone

  • The button “Share” allows you to share your screen of your choice

You can: 

  • Show Teams conversation messages

  • Show the list of participants of your Teams meeting

  • Leave the call
