Survey

Create a Survey

Take an opinion or ask your audience's opinion with a single or multiple choice question and display the results as a bar, donut or pie chart.

To add a Survey activity, click on “Add a slide” on the top left of your screen, then select the activity “Survey”.

When you choose the "Survey" activity, the interface adapts instantly: a dedicated editing panel appears on the right of your screen, allowing you to customise your activity. At the same time, the system automatically saves your activity with the same name as the newly created activity (in this case, Survey) and integrates it into your presentation, visible as a slide in the left-hand navigation bar.

Activity settings

You will have access to the following sections:
Title and instructions
- Customise your Survey activity! By default, the title is the same as the activity name. To change it, delete the automatic title and enter your own question or a customised title.
- Add an instruction to give more details about your activity. This option is optional.

Activity format and Propositions
Select the format of your question:
- Single-choice question: only one possible answer from the list.
- Multiple choice question: several possible answers from the list of suggestions.

Suggested answers
Here you can enter the various suggested answers in the fields indicated. To add even more suggestions, click on ‘Add a suggestion’.
You can delete suggestions by clicking on the bin icon to the right of each text field and/or add images if you wish by clicking on the image icon.

Presentation settings and Results
- You can choose to display the number of participants live
- Choose how you would like the results of your activity to be displayed, either in real time (Live) or at the end of the activity.

- You can also choose the type of graph format you want and represent the number of responses as a percentage.

Notes
It is possible to add launch settings to your activity. Consult our dedicated article about Time management settings.

Start your activity

When the participant scrolls through the slides (asynchronous mode), your Survey is automatically accessible when you save your activity.
If the presenter is scrolling through the slides, you can manually launch your activity by clicking on the green "Start" button at the top right of your slide. You can now collect your participants' opinions.

To end the activity so that your participants can no longer contribute, click on "Stop"

Info
As the creator/facilitator of a session, you can choose to participate in the activity by clicking on the tab Take part at the top of the activity slide once this has started.

The activity's options

You can perform the following actions on your activity at any time:

1. Reset
2. Edit
3. Duplicate
4. Delete
