This assessment activity allows you to check if your participants understood a concept by asking them to link elements together. It is a fun way to test your audience’s knowledge by combining visuals and/or keywords!
To create and add an idea association activity to your session, click on “Add a slide”, on the top left, then select “idea association” on the bottom of the scrollable panel.
Once selected the activity, you can set it in the center of the slide.
In the center of the slide, you will have access to the following settings:
To add an image, click on “Image” then select a picture from your phone, from an external link or from Beekast's built-in image bank.
You can reorganize the different associations by click and grab by the little dots on the left of each proposition, then sliding the association to the desired position.
On the panel on the right of your screen, you can find the following settings:
Correction and Results
Select the displaying mode for the results of the activity: either during the activity (after each answer), or at the end of the activity, by your own means if you are in a facilitator’s scrolling mode.
Time Management
To dynamize your activity even more, you can choose to add a Stopwatch or a Timer (to determine the duration of your activity).
Finally, click on Save on the bottom of the slide to save the activity.
On the scrolling mode by the participant (asynchronous mode), your activity is automatically accessible as soon as your activity is registered.
On the scrolling mode by the facilitator, the owner or the coanimator of the session will need to manually start the activity by clicking on the button Start activity on the top right of the slide.
To make the activity unavailable to participants, you can click on “Stop activity”, on the top right of your slide. The participants won’t be able to upload new responses anymore.

The activity Idea association is an assessment activity, your participants will gain points by answering correctly to the activity.
On the activity, points individually earned can be seen by the participants over the slide’s podium, by clicking on the trophy icon on the top right of the slide.
The animator can equally see the earned points by participants from the projection screen to see the progress of each one.
