License Administrator Console

License Administrator Console

New on Beekast ! 🐝

We are pleased to inform you that Beekast now has a console for organizational administrators.

An administrator console is a system that allows the administrator of an organisation to manage various aspects of the Beekast licenses allocated within the organization. This typically includes the ability to add, remove and reassign Beekast licenses, as well as monitor and control the assignment.

The main difference is that requests are now handled directly with the contract administrator within the company, rather than with Beekast's Customer or Support team.

This gives more autonomy to referrers by allowing them to manage licenses directly, which can speed up the process of handling requests and offer a better response to the organization's specific needs. In other words, it decentralizes the license management process and enables faster, more accurate decision-making at the company level.

We're delighted to announce the roll-out of exciting new features in our administrator console, designed to give you greater control over the management of your licenses!

This feature is reserved for customers who have a contract with several Beekast premium licenses to award. If you have purchased a single premium license online, you will not be able to benefit from this update.

How does it work?

License administrators are designated in advance so that our Support team can carry out the necessary configuration, and then the administrator manages the licenses. This administrator will receive an email informing them that they are now the administrator of the organization.

ATTENTION, Administrators must be part of the organization before they can be elected as an administrator, i.e. they must already have a Beekast account in the organization.

Responsibilities of a license administrator :

- Add members to the organization

- Send invitation reminders

- Remove members from the organization

- Re-assign licenses

How do I add members to my organization?

When an administrator invites someone to join the organization, there are two possible situations:

The person does not have a Beekast account:

- The administrator will be able to send, from the administrator console, an invitation to create an account and thus become part of the license.

- Within 24 hours, the guest will receive the invitation and an email verifying their email address, followed by an email welcoming them to Beekast.

- If the email address has not been verified after the account has been created, Beekast will send an email the following day to remind the guest to verify their account. Three days later, this reminder is sent again and finally, if a week later the account has still not been verified, the same reminder disappears.

The person already has a Beekast account:

- The organization's guest will receive an email informing them that they belong to the organization, along with the documentation and information they need to get started with their new Beekast account.

Steps to follow:

      1. First, as a designated organizer, click on the icon or photo of your account at the top right of the session, then click on User management

 2. Next, a page opens up and on the right you will find the User Management button to click:

  1. View the number of licenses available and to be used
  2. The button for adding members to the organization
  3. The search bar for members already added
  4. And the list of users

Once you have added people to your list, you will also find buttons for removing someone from the license, either individually or as a group once the members have been selected.

Feel free to explore these new features in our administrator console today, and if you have any questions, we invite you to contact our Support team at support@beekast.com!
