Display the participants' list

The participants' tab

List of participants

During your session, you have the possibility to view the list with the participants of your session. For this, click on the tab Participants on the sidebar on the right of your session.
The participant list allows you to see all the participants who have logged on to your session at any given time, as well as to identify online participants by the green dot.

A side from the characters icon on the top right of the session

According to the identification mode of your participants, you could see:
  1. A list of participants with information about their personal Beekast accounts.
  2. A list of participants with the chosen avatar when they enter the session.
  3. And a list of participants with the username they entered when they joined the session.

It is not possible to have access to the list for those participants without an account or that are not connected with their Beekast account!

If you chose the participant mode (asynchronous) when you created your session, you will then be able to:
  1. View the progression of each of the participants in your session. For this, click on the icon “All participants”, which you will find right next to the search bar in the “Participants” tab.
  2. Find the number of points accumulated on the assessment activities. Click on the "Validate" icon (the box with the check mark).
  3. See the “Finished session”, you will find the list of the participants that have finished your session. For this, the participant’s bar must be green and complete.
  4. To view the “Progression”, you can see your participant's progression by clicking on the “Stopwatch” icon.
  5. See the number of accumulated points for the assessment activities or the challenge.

To see how many people are taking part in an activity, some of them have the option of displaying the number of people taking part in the activity live. By activating this option, the counter will be displayed at the bottom left of the activity slide with a grey icon representing a person.

How to request a confirmation of attendance on your session?

You can request with one click to all of your participants in the session to confirm they are attending your presentation.
Beekast saves you the time of the connection at the beginning and at the end of the session, thanks to the Attendance functionality.

This feature is available from the Business offer.

To access this functionality, set your session with the identification mode by email (Mandatory Beekast account).
To do this, go to Settings at the top of your session and click on the tab Connection and Security. Then select the option Email, which needs to previously have a Beekast account and to be connected.

  1. From the Facilitator’s side of the session
Once all of your participants are connected to your session, go to the tab Participants at the right of your session, and click on the icon at the top right of the word Participants.
An Attendance check request will open on your screen, and by clicking on it, will send a confirmation request to all of your participants. This first request allows you to save the attendance of your participants at the beginning of the session.

  1. From Participant’s side
Once the attendance request is launched, each participant has five minutes to confirm their presence.
The participants can confirm their presence by clicking on the button I’m here from their interface.

In the facilitator’s interface, the gray circle turns green in front of the participant's name confirmed.

In case of no attendance confirmation, the gray circle turns red.

If one of the participants doesn’t confirm their presence, the facilitator can send a new individual attendance request. To do this, click on the three dots at the right of the not confirmed participants, and then click on the Attendance check request.

At the end of your session, you can launch the end-of-attendance confirmation request.
Same process for your participants as at the beginning of the session: they will have five minutes to validate that they stayed until the end.
For this, go to the tab Participants at the right of your session, click on the icon at the top right of the word Participants, then click on Attendance check request.
