How to create and edit your sessions faster with Pollen?

Pollen is the conversational assistant built into the Beekast session creator. It helps you build your sessions using natural language: you describe what you want, and Pollen creates the corresponding slides and activities. Pollen is currently in a testing phase: access is being rolled out gradually and its responses may still have imperfections.

What is Pollen?

Pollen is a chat interface integrated directly into the right-hand side panel of the session creator. It can:

- Create activities from a simple description

- Edit the content of an existing activity

- Rename your session

- Reorganize the order of slides in your session

- Delete slides on request

Pollen supports all Beekast activity types (poll, brainstorming, challenge, form, metaphor, etc.).

⚠️ Pollen is in its trial version. Some actions are not yet available to it.

Accessing Pollen

1. Open a session from your workspace

2. Click on the Pollen entry (identified by its logo) in the right-hand side panel of the session creator

3. The chat window opens in the right panel

⚠️ Pollen is in a testing phase: the feature is being gradually deployed and may not yet be visible on your account.

Creating content with Pollen

Simply describe your need in the chat, as you would with a colleague:

- "Create a poll to gather participants' expectations"

- "Add a brainstorming session on product improvement ideas"

- "Reorganize the slides to put the icebreaker first"

- "Create a session to run a weekly meeting with my team"

Pollen executes the action directly in your session. You see the result appear in real time in the slide list.

Good to know:

- Always review the generated content before launching your session: in the testing phase, responses may be imperfect

- Pollen's actions are applied immediately to your session

- A warning banner is displayed to remind you that the feature is in a testing phase

Giving feedback on Pollen

Your feedback helps the team improve Pollen during the testing phase:

- Use the 👍 / 👎 thumbs under Pollen's responses

- Click on the detailed feedback option to specify your comments

FAQ

Why don't I see Pollen in my session creator?

Pollen is in a testing phase and being gradually activated on accounts. If you don't see the Pollen entry, the feature is not yet available for your account.

Can Pollen edit an existing session?

Yes. Pollen can create, edit, reorganize, and delete slides in the session open in the creator.

Are Pollen's actions reversible?

Actions are applied directly to your session. Review the generated content and adjust it manually if necessary.

How do I report a problem with Pollen?

Use the built-in feedback (thumbs and detailed form) or contact Beekast support via chat.
