Sigle Sign-On authentication

Using the SSO to sign in

What is the SSO?

The SSO (Single Sign-On) is a method that allows the user to connect to multiple IT applications (websites) by using only one authentication. Managed by your company, the SSO allows you to keep the same logins and passwords (or any other authentication means…) to use all of your corporate applications.

Why the SSO?

One SSO connection, multiple benefits:
  1. One connection for all of your applications.
  2. Save you time in the connection.
  3. Increased security access to your Beekast account.
  4. Implementing SSO allows your company to easily assign their available Beekast licenses in complete autonomy.
The implementation of SSO is done jointly with our IT service and your company.

It is possible to log in by SSO directly from the Beekast page! It is not necessary anymore to search for the app in the catalog of authorized applications by your company.

To do so:
  1. Click on “Sign in with SSO”

You must log in to your corporate network beforehand in order to take advantage of the SSO connection.
  1. Fill in your corporate email address.

It is also possible, at this stage, to choose to log in by other means, clicking on “Sign in through a different means”. You will be redirected to the main sign-in page.

  1. If you have multiple accounts on the tool your company uses for your single sign-on, then you will be asked to choose between them.

Teams

It is now possible to connect to your Beekast account on Teams using SSO the same way as on your classic Beekast page.
After choosing your Beekast app from the Teams app store, a Beekast login page will open. Click on “Sign in with SSO”.

  1. Fill in the corporate email address.

You may have an authentication error, not related to Beekast, if you have multiple accounts with your identity provider, including a personal account and a corporate account. For example, we’ve experienced this error with a Google personal account.
In this case, log out from your identity provider and restart the process of SSO authentication, making sure you select your company account when you log in.
