Create a Rating Activity

How do you collect rated feedback from your participants with the Rating activity?

Collect feedback from your participants and project the average results on a large screen in real time. Your participants respond to your statement or question with a rating, ranging from 1 to 6 stars. When the results are displayed, you see the group's rating breakdown as well as the average of all the scores submitted by your participants, with a visual scale.

Create the Rating activity

  • Click Add a slide, at the top left of the screen.

  • Select the Rating activity.

The activity is integrated into your presentation; it is saved automatically and appears as a slide in the navigation bar on the left. An editing panel appears automatically on the right-hand side of your screen.

Customize the title and instructions

  • Customize the title: it defaults to "Rating", but you can change it.

  • Add instructions. This option is optional.

Choose the activity format

  • Choose between 3 and 6 stars in total to best match your needs.

Set up the display and results

  • Choose whether to display the number of participants live.

  • Select how results are displayed: in real time (live) or only once the activity is closed.

Start the Rating activity

  • In self-paced mode, your activity is automatically accessible as soon as it's saved.

  • In live mode, you can manually launch your activity by clicking the green Start button, at the top right of your slide.

  • You can now collect feedback from your participants.

Manage the activity's options

You can perform the following actions on your activity at any time:

  1. Reset

  2. Edit

  3. Duplicate

  4. Delete

Alternatively, click the "Edit" button in the toolbar on the right side of the session.
