Manage your session

Open, close, adjust the duration, duplicate, or delete a session: here's how.

When created, a session is open by default and therefore accessible to participants. You can then open or close it manually, adjust its opening duration, duplicate it, or delete it.

Opening and closing a session

From the session's homepage, click the Access button or the padlock icon at the top of the session interface to manage access. The padlock icon also shows your session's closing date.

  1. Sessions close automatically after 20 days by default.

  2. You can adjust the default duration for all your sessions via the Access settings.

  3. Use the Disable participant access option to manually close or open access to a session in a single click.

💡Good to know

  • If your session was opened (with participations) and then closed, reopening it will prompt a window letting you choose whether to keep the participation data already collected or reset the entire session.

  • Any deletion or reset permanently erases the participation data. Once deleted, this information cannot be recovered.

Closing a session from the "My sessions" page

As the session owner:

  1. Use the three-dot menu next to your session

  2. Access the Close option.

  3. Click on Close again.

💡Good to know

  • Only the session owner and collaborators have this right.

  • Participants do not have access to this feature.

Duplicating a session

From the "My sessions" page, use the three-dot menu next to your session, then select Duplicate a session.

  • This action copies the session's structure: customization, tabs, activities, and slides.

  • The duplicated session excludes entries and statistics.

  • This feature is available for collaborators as well.

📝Premium feature: the Duplicate Session option is not available with a free trial account.

Deleting a session

From the page of the folder :

  1. Use the three-dot menu next to your session,

  2. Then select Delete to open the pop-up.

  3. And click Delete again.

  • Only the session owner can perform this action.

  • Deleted sessions move to the Trash for 30 days, allowing restoration.

  • After 30 days, sessions are permanently deleted.
