Possible actions on a message
As a session facilitator, you have the possibility to take several actions on the messages of the session.
You can project one or several messages on your projection screen from the Present button:
Click on the icon at the top right of the message you wish to project
You will also find three little dots on the top right of each message. Clicking on them opens a menu with several options:
Edit: to modify a message. As a facilitator, you can edit your messages and those of your participants. A participant can only edit their own messages
Pin: available only to facilitators, this feature allows setting a message at the top of the discussion space
Tag: available only to facilitators, this feature allows associating one or several keywords to your message to create categories, for example
Projection screen: available only to facilitators, this feature allows displaying a message in large size on the discussion space. Unlike the classic projection via the "screen" tab, this feature shows only one message at a time in large size
Refuse: available only to facilitators, this feature allows the removal of a message from the discussion space. It is not deleted, but it is no longer visible to your participants
Delete: this feature allows deleting a message. Your participants can delete their own messages. Attention: this action is permanent
Views, Tags and Filters
As a facilitator, you can see different views and filter your messages on the Discussion space. These views and filters only apply to your facilitator's view: your participants won't see these changes and will always have access to the classic view.
💡Good to know
Clicking on Discussion gives you access to several views, including: Discussion (the classic view), Most Liked posts (messages sorted from most to least liked) and Projected messages (all messages that you have projected on your projection screen)
As soon as at least one message is "tagged" in your discussion space, you have access to the tag icon:
You will find a list of all the tags defined on your session
You can search by tag
Clicking on a tag shows the list of matching messages
Settings
Your Discussion space can be entirely set according to your needs. Click on the settings icon at the top right of Messages in the discussion space: a panel opens with a series of options.
By default, your participants can send messages freely, without an account. Depending on what you check or uncheck, you can authorize or forbid:
Sending of messages by participants
Sending of anonymous messages
Activation of moderation for all messages before showing them to participants
💡Good to know — Moderation
📝Moderation is a premium feature. Please consult our Pricing.
When you enable moderation, unapproved messages are grouped together in a dedicated space:
A dot on the "Messages" tab and an orange line indicate the number of messages awaiting approval
Click on Discussion, then select Moderation from the drop-down menu
In this area, you can Accept messages (they will then appear in the discussion) or Reject them. Rejected messages are kept in the "Rejected" section for your records, but remain invisible to participants
Your participants know if their messages are pending or refused
