Integrate Beekast into your tools

How do you connect Beekast to your video conferencing tools or your company platform?

You can associate a Beekast session with a video conferencing application, or even integrate Beekast into your company platform using the embed code.

Integrate Beekast into another video conferencing tool

You can integrate Beekast directly into a video conference or meeting:

  • To integrate Beekast into a Teams video conference, click here.

  • To integrate Beekast into a Webex video conference, click here.

  • To integrate Beekast into a Livestorm video conference, click here.

  • To integrate Beekast into a Zoom video conference, click here.

Use an embed code

Whether you want to accelerate your digital pedagogy or allow your participants to access Beekast directly from your company platform, you can integrate Beekast into your ecosystem using the embed code.

  1. Go to Configure, at the top left of your session.

  2. Scroll down the page until you see Custom integration.

  3. Copy the embed code, then paste it into the relevant section of your tool/platform so that your session is embedded as an iframe (HTML format must be supported by your tool).

This adds all the power and versatility of Beekast to your existing tools and makes it easier for your participants to access, since they only need one piece of software and one URL to remember.

Getting an iframe session to work in Safari

Due to Safari's protections, the integration may not work and an error message may appear on the session.

  • Click Safari > Preferences > Privacy.

  • Uncheck the Prevent cross-site tracking option.

  • Refresh your page: the session should now display correctly.

💡Good to know

  • For the embed to work properly, it is recommended to use the Chrome and Firefox browsers (highly recommended).

  • If you notice an issue on Firefox, make sure cross-site cookies are allowed in your browser settings.
