Removing a user's license
When you remove a user's license, they become a guest of the organization: they no longer lose their sessions.
In the Access management section, click the three dots next to the user (1), then Remove license (2).
If the user owns sessions, the Remove license window shows how many they own and when they were last used, then asks What happens to these sessions?:
Transfer them to a member (1): select the new owner, who will be able to edit and run them. They are moved to a folder named after the former owner, who won't get them back, even with a license. Confirm with Transfer and remove license (3).
Keep them with the user, locked (2): the user stays owner and still sees them, but can't edit or run them. Full access comes back as soon as a license is assigned again. Confirm with Remove license (3).
📝 The choice between transferring and locking is available with the Pro and Enterprise plans. With other plans, sessions stay locked with their owner until a license is assigned again.
💡 Good to know
The freed license is available again immediately.
Collaborators and participants of locked sessions keep their access.
