💡Good to know
Creating teams is only available in sessions in host-driven scrolling mode.
Team points only count for "evaluation" type activities (Quiz, Ranking, Pin on Image, Matching, and Question flash).
Create a team
Click "Configure" at the top of your session, to the left.
Click "Teams".
Click "Add a team" and enter the team's name.
Click "Save" to save it.
You can create as many teams as you like. Once all your teams are created, click "Save."
You can assign a color to a team by clicking the icon to the left of the team. To delete a team, click the red trash icon to the right of the team you want to delete.
💡Good to know
Setting up teams requires refreshing the page for it to take effect.
Participants joining teams
When joining the session, your participants are free to choose the team of their choice. The host cannot assign teams to specific participants. It's no longer possible to change teams once one has been selected.
A visual reminder of the team's color stays displayed on the avatar, in the top right corner of the screen, on both desktop and mobile. The team's name is visible by clicking the avatar.
Scores and leaderboards
When teams are set up in your session, your participants earn individual points, as well as team points through evaluation activities. By answering activities correctly, your participants earn points according to the scoring systems.
By clicking the trophy icon on the activity, you can check the points earned: the individual leaderboard as a participant and the team leaderboard if teams have been added to the session.
To check the points earned over the whole session, go to the projection screen via the "Open public screen" button at the top right of the session.
