Create a session

How do you create a new Beekast session?

Once logged in to your account, you can create a new session in just a few clicks, directly from the "My sessions" area. Once your session is created, default settings are applied — you can change them at any time.

Create a new session

To get started:

  1. Click Create a session, at the top of the page, in the My sessions area.

  2. Or start directly by clicking on one of the suggested activities to create your slides.

Once the session is created, these default settings apply (you can change them afterwards):

  • The default scrolling mode is facilitator-controlled (synchronous).

  • The session is automatically named "New session + creation date".

  • The default identification mode is Avatar-based.

To change your session's title, click the pencil icon to the right of the pre-filled title, then press "Enter" or click outside the box. A green pop-up appears on the right of the page to confirm the change.

💡Good to know

Creating new sessions is not available on mobile. Use the web version of Beekast on a computer.

Your session is created: all that's left is to customize and configure it.

How do I add PowerPoint slides or videos to my session?

From your session, add your presentations or videos, or create content slides directly.

Can I import a session created on another Beekast account?

Yes, you can import a session from another Beekast account.
