How do you import slides and activities from another Beekast session?

You can import slides and activities from one session to another. This saves you from re-entering numerous questions.

Import slides from another session

To import slides from another session, on your session:

  1. Click Add a slide.

  2. In the panel that opens on the left of your screen, click Import from session.

  3. Select the session you want to import slides or activities from.

  4. Select the slides and/or activities you want.

  5. Click Import.

Your activities and slides are imported into your session, without any participation data.

Information visible on a session card

Each session card shows:

  • The session title.

  • The slide playback mode icon: either Live Control (reading desk icon) or Self-Paced (computer mouse icon).

  • The number of slides.

  • The number of activities.

  • The number of tags added to filter the session view.

  • The session's creation date.

💡Good to know

The Quiz activity cannot be imported into a Self-Paced session (participant-driven scrolling mode).

Is participation data imported along with the slides?

No, only the slides and activities are imported, without any participation data.

What information is visible on a session card?

The title, the playback mode (Live Control or Self-Paced), the number of slides, the number of activities, the number of tags, and the creation date.

Can I import a Challenge activity into a Self-Paced session?

No, the Challenge activity cannot be imported into a session with participant-driven playback (Self-Paced).
