The goal of the Beekast Inspirations website is to bring fresh ideas to your meetings for even more impact. Do you need to run a meeting tomorrow but don't know which activities would best serve your objectives? Or do you feel the group's energy dropping because you've brought the same brainstorming activity for the third time? Discover our inspirations: choose the activity based on your context (team size, objective, time available…) and we'll suggest the ideal activity for your situation.
Understand an inspiration sheet
Each sheet starts with a summary to place the activity within your context. You'll find several variables there:
The activity summary and its added value.
The time needed to run it (the time you have available).
The group size.
Your facilitation level:
Beginner: easy-to-run activities, you can even take part yourself, they require no preparation.
Intermediate: activities you need to prepare in advance, you can take part, but you also need to guide the group.
Expert: activities to prepare in advance both on your side and the participants' side, you fully facilitate the session to guide the group.
The meeting phase: opening (often icebreaker activities), exploration (brainstorming, ideation, finding solutions…), closing (wrap-up activity).
The rest of the sheet then describes the activity step by step, the recipe to follow so your activity is a success:
The prerequisites: how to prepare in advance.
The Beekast settings: how to configure your activity in Beekast.
The walkthrough: every step from presenting the activity to the group through to wrapping up the exercise.
💡Good to know
Don't hesitate to check the "Suggestions and variations" section of the sheet: you'll find tips to facilitate even better, or examples to refresh the activity.
Import a template into your session
Inspirations aren't just step-by-step sheets: you can import the inspiration's template directly into your session.
From the Inspirations website, click the Use template button: you're redirected to Beekast, where you choose the session to add the template to, or create a new one.
From Beekast, you can import a template directly from the add-slide panel: click Add a slide then choose Templates. You'll then find all the templates from the Inspirations website directly in Beekast.
