Embed your Beekast session in your company's tools

Embed your Beekast session in your company's tools

You can associate a Beekast session with a video conferencing application. You can also integrate Beekast on your enterprise platform with the integration (Embed code).

Associate a Beekast session with a video conferencing application (Jitsi)

You can associate the free Jitsi video conferencing applications with your Beekast session. To link the free videoconferencing application Jitsi to a Beekast session, go to Settings at the top of your session, then click on Connected applications and integrations.

To associate Jitsi with your Beekast session, click on connect on the right of the Jisti application. Then follow the instructions.
Once logged into your Jitsi account, go to the Visio tab in the menu on the right of your session. Click on Add a video conference, then select the Jitsi application, then click on Confirm.
You can choose between two display modes. Either the Floating Window view mode or the In a Browser Tab view mode.
Once you have selected your display mode, click on Confirm. Then click on Join, you can now join the videoconference.

Integration (Embed code)

Whether you want to accelerate your digital pedagogy or allow your participants to access Beekast directly from your enterprise platform, you can integrate Beekast into your ecosystem using the Embed code.

Go to Settings at the top of your session. Then, click on the Connected Applications section. Scroll down your page until you see Embed code.
Copy it, then paste it into the indicated section of your tool/platform so that your session will be integrated (HTML format must be supported by your tool).

You add the power and versatility of Beekast to your existing tools and make it easy for your attendees to remember just one software and one URL!

Running an iframe session on the Safari browser

Due to protections on Safari, the integration may not work and you'll get an error message about the session. To view the session, click on Safari / Preferences / Privacy and uncheck the "Prevent cross-site tracking " option, then refresh your page. The session should now be displayed correctly.

To ensure that your code integration runs correctly, we recommend to use Chrome and Firefox browsers (highly recommended).
If you notice a dysfunction on your Firefox browser, make sure in the browser settings that all cross-site cookies are allowed.
