Beekast and video conferencing tools

FAQ Beekast & video conferencing tools

Being heard and seen during remote work are essential. Here are some tips and tricks to better use Beekast with a video conferencing tool.

Is there a video conferencing system in Beekast?

There is no video conferencing system integrated into Beekast. But there is a workaround! You can directly associate your session with video conferencing tools thanks to the Connected applications tab in the settings of the sessions. Organizing a video conferencing session with Zoom or Jitsi is made simple.

Consult our articles on the connected applications Zoom and Jitsi.

What if my dedicated video conferencing tool is not listed among the connected applications presented by Beekast?

Even if it is not directly linked to your favorite application, it is not very complicated to open your Beekast session and drive your video conferencing session at the same time.
Consult our guides here Beekast & Cie.

Is there a tip to display my Beekast session and drive the video conferencing session at the same time?

Beekast can be integrated into MS Teams. This is an opportunity to get the power of Teams and the Interactivity in Beekast in the same space. It's up to you to embed your Beekast session into Teams and start a video conferencing and online meeting.

How to share my Beekast session via a video conferencing tool?

You can share your screen with your team/participants to show them some data or any other information. Sharing your screen during your meeting is essential. Beware! A shared screen is not interactive. We recommend not sharing your admin page, but only the projected mode by clicking on "Live session" at the top right of your session. This will avoid showing the whole content of your session to the participants.
