Once logged in to your account, you can create a new session in just a few clicks, directly from the "My sessions" area. Once your session is created, default settings are applied — you can change them at any time.
Create a new session
To get started:
Click Create session, at the top of the Home page, then Empty session to start from scratch.
Or start directly by clicking on one of the suggested activities to create your slides.
The Create session menu also offers Master session, From a duplication code (to reuse a colleague's session) and Improve session with Pollen.
📝 Master session and From a duplication code are available with the Pro or Enterprise plan.
Once the session is created, these default settings apply (you can change them afterwards):
The default scrolling mode is facilitator-controlled (synchronous).
The session is automatically named "New session + creation date".
The default identification mode is Avatar-based.
To change your session's title, click the pre-filled title directly at the top of the session, then press "Enter" or click outside the box. A green pop-up appears on the right of the page to confirm the change. You can also change it via the Settings gear icon at the top of the session > General tab > Session name.

Creating new sessions is not available on mobile. Use the web version of Beekast on a computer.
Your session is created: all that's left is to customize and configure it.
Add content to your session
Enrich your session with different types of content to offer your participants a complete experience.
Click Add a slide: the Create Slide tab groups content slides and our different types of activity, sorted by category.
At the bottom of the Create Slide tab, click Need ideas? Browse templates to use our Activity Templates, pre-designed by our Product team to save you time when creating your session. These templates adapt to your needs and remain editable.
Import your presentations from the Import Slides tab (from your device, Google Drive or another Beekast session), or add videos and content slides from the Create Slide tab.
